  2. hey genius(es)… weight has a decent part in this. Torque does no good without sufficient traction. If BOTH trucks had the same weight loadout, and same traction, the Ram would still win… because the Diesel has WAY more torque. Adding to this is the fact that the Ram has a HEAVY loadout, with MORE traction, due to the number of tires. This isnt as simple as who has the biggest engine, or heaviest truck.

  3. no. even without duellies that dodge with a cummins is a 1-ton truck. and titan is only a 1/2 ton, and weighs FAR less, and is they did weigh the same the dodge would still win cus it has a extremely torquey engine. this is just not a good competition in any way

  8. Hey retard that made the coment! “its not about power its weight”. Then i can put a briggs and stratton 5 hp engine in my heavy hauler Peterbilt that can tow/haul in excess of 200,000 lbs and save on diesel cost then huh? Power is all the difference with weight having very little effect on it. Put abut 3,000 pounds in the bed of the titan and it still would not pull the dodge. The titan would not have the POWER to move the weight.

  9. Seriously, it’s pretty impressive that the Titan didn’t just get dragged by that monster. I drive a titan, and my uncle drives a ram 3500, and I have no doubt that he would win.

  13. Yea a diesel vs a gas? Sad if its a Low RPM and the Dodge is way heavier then titan. Titan could beat and truck thats even close to its size but that? thats way unfair

  14. a 1/2 ton dodge with a hemi would have been more fair.This is severe OVERKILL.Then again some (not all)import truck owners tend to run there mouths a little too much as far as saying they can out pull a diesel and have no idea what torque these monsters can develop at low RPM!! Domestic truck owners do it too.The only gas engines that have some what of a chance are big blocks with a long stroke.
