  16. Yes, the roof is aluminium.
    but a fixed roof (like on the 370z) provides support to the car.
    because the z4 has no fixed roof, they have to give it support another way, by adding 2 beams for suport to the body of the car. That is where the extra weight comes from.

    I hope this isnt to confusing…

  18. BMW… The V8 from the e9X M3 will not be in the new Z4. No Z4 M. =’(

    There will however be a M package available for the new Z4 in the near furture.

  19. I just bought a BMW Z4 sDrive35i and have had a Porsche 997 Turbo, and I think the BMW is amazing for the money.

  24. I would as well, if it weren’t over 10k more than the 370z.

    The 370z is a better value. There are better cars you can buy in the 45-50k range than the z4.
