BMW’s New F10 M5 will be available from 19 November and make its UK debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on 30 June - 3 July 2011. It’s the pure embodiment of ‘controlled’ performance - more powerful and efficient than its predecessor with a 552 bhp twin-turbo V8 engine featuring valvetronic and vanos. It’s a completely different engine to the similar looking engine in the X5 M - higher revving, better breathing and different turbochargers with more boost (1.5bar vs 1.2bar). Performance is blisteringly quick with 0-62mph easily accomplished in 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 189mph (with M Drivers pack). Perhaps the most astounding achievement is the CO2 emission figure of 232 g/km, which is a whopping 125 g/km better than its E60 M5 predecessor.

Amazing sound from a highly modded Interlagos Blue BMW M6 E63 V10 revving hard! Did a walk around of the car and filmed the engine bay as well. The tuned car featured a fantastic sound system, 3 piece forged wheels (carbon fiber inlays), with upgraded exhaust, air intake, ECU etc. Spotted at the 2011 Northeast Exotic Car Show.
In my opinion these two car are the best sounding cars I saw in London. Yes there was a Pagani, a 599 GTB with Tubi and many other loud supercar. But the cars in the video impressed me a lot. The Mercedes is a C63 AMG with probabily a decatted exhaust system, because the last part of the exhausts is an AMG original part (the owner said us it has a Hamann exhaust but it sounds to me a bit strange). The BMW M5 has probabily the best exhaust system for this car: Eisenmann. So in this video you have two battle: BMW vs. Mercedes and V8 engine vs. V10 engine. What do you prefer??
