As they embark on one collective mission that will reshape history, they’ll redefine the boundaries of the way we live, and the way we move—starting with two years, 700 cars and infinite possibilities. This video introduces the rise of the Electronaut and tells you how to become involved in the BMW ActiveE field trial. There are 3 steps to becoming a BMW Electronaut. First, you’ll fill out a reservation form on bmwusa.com, which will be available later this year. Next, you complete a consultation to ensure your home, office or another preferred location is capable of supporting a charging station. Lastly, you’ll complete a closed-end, two-year lease at a participating BMW ActiveE center and finalize your charging station installation. Vehicles will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
