Nissan GT-R I’m onboard of Monza Circuit
This is a regular Mini with an irregular engine. It’s been fitted with a mid mounted R1 sports bike engine. This is the edited highlights of the first trip around Castle Combe race circuit in Merry England. The problem was that on the second lap the brakes failed. You may just hear me shout “brakes have gone!” at one point. This meant that I had only engine braking into the corners so I had to ease off way ahead of the corners. Thanks to Duncan for the editing. Have now sorted the car a bit …
This is for sure one of my fav ride! I have been in a white Nissan GT-R R35 at the Imola racetrack with Simo driving his amazing 507hp japanese supercar. This car is a rocket, great acceleration, very fast gear. We made a battle against a red Ferrari 430 Scuderia and a few other cars. Also, the GT-R is a very rare car here, Nissan has just delivered 100 GT-Rs to Italy. The car is not loud, but i love the noise of the engine! Music by Brian Boyko www.freepd.pd

Have now sorted the car a bit more and have taken her around there again. Sadly no video this time. I am now pulling about 115 mph at the end of the straight and the car is Awesome! I plan to take it to the forthcoming Mini day in September. If you see me there say hello. The car looks frighteningly standard. Its cream with a white Union Jack roof. The only hint that its not standard is the mid mounted engine and the 8 in wide Alley Cats and racing slick tyres.
