New York City International Auto Show - Aston Martin Rapide

Aston Martin representative talking about the Aston Martin Rapide at the New York City International Auto Show. Transcript: An Aston Martin Rapide, the world’s most elegant four-door sports car. It’s important to remember that it is a sports car and has the driving dynamics and characteristics of the top of the line Aston Martin vehicles. This car comes standard with adaptive suspension, navigation, bang & olufsen sound system. The rapide as it sits here shares its motor with the DB9, also a 12-cylinder, producing 470 horse, and 443 foot pounds of torque. And, zero to 60 in just under five seconds. One of the things we did when designing the rapide was to try to keep the look of the coupe and it’s very important to have a flowing line to the car. So, what we did was to move the b pillar, which you have to have structurally as a four-door, we moved it inside. It’s hidden behind glass. And then, this piece of aluminum at the top is continual and it guides your eye so it still looks like–if you look quick you might also think it’s a db9 or a dbs, but instead when you take a second look, you’ll actually see that there are two rear doors.

The Top Ten Moves of Kotaro Suzuki

Heading into the Top Tens full force here, kicking things off with Kotaro Suzuki. Kotaro was one of the first graduates from the NOAH dojo, training under the watchful eye of some of Puroresu’s best. Upon graduation, Kotaro worked his way up the cards, starting at the bottom, and working up from there. However, often mismatched, Kotaro wouldn’t win a whole lot, but as time went on, even these losses resulted in great matches. In 2003, he entered the Differ Cup, alongside fellow NOAH Jr. Heavyweight KENTA. The two placed third in the tournament, and that would catapult KENTA’s stock through the roof, while Kotaro was still stuck where he was. However, he continued to give his all in the ring, and formed a new tag team alongside Ricky Marvin. The two dazzled crowds, but failed to secure any tag team gold, including a loss to Team Chaos at NOAH’s Tokyo Dome in July. Later that year, Kotaro adopted the Tiger Emperor persona, often pulling double duty on shows. The only big win he would gain under the hood was a Mask vs. Hair Match against occasional partner Ricky Marvin. That summer, he also debuted the Mushiking Terry character, and again, found mild success until 2006, where he would at last win the GHC Jr. Heavyweight Title. The reign was short, and he lost to longtime rival Yoshinobu Kanemaru. He and Marvin rebounded when they defeated the Briscoes for the GHC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Titles. This time, the two ran with it, and had a long, successful reign. In November
