Nissan GT-R R35 3D Drag Race

Between 1969 and 1974, and again between 1989 and 2002, Nissan produced a high performance version of its Skyline range called the Nissan Skyline GT-R This car proved to be iconic for Nissan and achieved much fame and success on road and track. The Nissan GT-R, although no longer carrying the “Skyline” badge, has heritage in the Nissan Skyline GT-R. Like the Skyline GT-Rs R32 through R34, the Nissan GT-R is all-wheel drive with a twin-turbo 6 cylinder engine; however, the evolutionary, incremental changes between Skyline models R32 through R34 have been done away with. The four-wheel-steering HICAS system has been removed, and the former straight-6 RB26DETT engine has been replaced with a new V6 VR38DETT. Because of the GT-R’s heritage, the chassis code for the all-new version has been called CBA-R35, or ‘R35′ for short (where CBA is the prefix for emission standard), carrying on the naming trend from previous Skyline GT-R generations. The GT-R has also retained its Skyline predecessor’s nickname Godzilla.

2012 Nissan GT-R Launch Control

The revised 2012 Nissan GT-R’s LC4 R-mode start launches from 4000 rpm like the 2009 LC1 original, but with a smoother clutch engagement to minimize wheelspin. These runs resulted in a 0-to-60 mph runs of 3.0 and 3.1 seconds, without rollout. That’s a significant improvement over all previous GT-Rs.

Gran Turismo for PSP - Intro

More about Gran Turismo for PSP: blogs.edmunds.com Gran Turismo for PSP Ad: www.youtube.com Official Game Site: us.gran-turismo.com More About PlayStation: www.youtube.com Chevy Corvette ZR1 vs. Nissan GT-R Comparison Test Video: www.youtube.com Video provided by Sony. IBy now, you may have seen the early clip of Sony’s Gran Turismo for PSP commercial featuring Rhys Millen driving a Corvette ZR1 at Laguna Seca, while Tanner Foust does the very same thing on PSP from the passenger seat. Well, Sony has made a “making of” movie about the commercial, and you can see to what lengths the company went to make the real-life action on the track match what was happening in the game. Foust is racing against a Ford GT, a Nissan GT-R and an E39 BMW M5 in the game, so those same cars are on the track. Rod Millen apparently drove the GT. In shooting the ZR1, says Stephanie Yoshimoto, senior product marketing manager for Sony, “we worked to replicate the camera used in the game. The cameras were mounted just as they would be in the game — third-person view, first-person view. That was the goal really to make sure we replicated the game with the actual commercial.” Foust, she says, picked up the game easily and didn’t get carsick. “He could deal with being thrown from side to side at 130 mph, going through the corkscrew and all that.” The 30-second commercial is after the jump.

Gran Turismo 5 Nissan GT-R Nurburgring Official Lap Record- 7′28.787

One of Gran Turismo 5 Trophy Collection is the Nissan GT-R Nurburgring Official Lap Record. You’ll able to earn the trophy if you’re going to beat the official lap record of Nissan GT-R ‘07 on Arcade Mode at Nurburgring-Nordschleife on hard tires. My first lap lap time was 7:36.986 and on the second lap i’ve beaten the record with lap time of 7′28.787. In the first lap it’s difficult to tell if you’re within the record pace but in the 2nd lap you’ll able to gauge your pace using your ghost. It’s easy to beat the record when you’re sitting in your living room and having no risk of getting into an accident:-) .. Nissan GT-R is awesome and a great car to drive at Nurburgring:-)
