2011 Frankfurt Auto Show (IAA), Frankfurt/Main, Germany, Sept. 15-21, 2011 The 64th Frankfurt Motor Show in Frankfurt, Germany, also known as the Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung, or IAA, will be held from September 15-25, 2011 in Frankfurt/Main, Germany. European Highlights Leaping upmarket, Jaguar rolled out a stunner penned by Ian Callum. The C-X16 (which will likely be called the XE when it comes to production) combines a supercharged V-6 with a hybrid designed to improve power. At the touch of a button, this Jag’s electric motor supplies a 94-horsepower boost for ten seconds; sort of like a nitrous bottle that never requires refilling. Far from gimmickry, hybrids are indeed coming to sports cars. Set to slot in below the XK in Jaguar’s sporting lineup, the XE’s designed to take on the BMW Z4 and Porsche’s Boxster/Cayman twins. The XE will likely keep the hybrid, if only to justify the “E” in its name. This wouldn’t be Frankfurt without heavy helpings of German cars. Porsche, Stuttgart’s sports-car überhaus, is developing a hybrid 911, which should arrive by 2016. In the interim, the company’s big news from Frankfurt was the latest 911 (known to Porsche enthusiasts as the 991). Bigger (a hybrid has to fit somewhere) and lighter than the outgoing car, the new 911 will be available with either Porsche’s PDK automated manual transmission or seven-speed manual.

Surprise at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2008. To mark the 30th anniversary of the M1, BMW showcased the M1 Hommage. This model is a design study to celebrate its predecessors, their specific body features and the middle engine concept. Watch an introduction to a magnificent project, which reflects the creativity and the potential of BMW’s designers.

About a month ago on my way to work I came across something which looked like it was from the movies. There was a warehouse full of exotic and muscle cars being seized by the DEA and US Marshalls. All the cars combined are worth upwards of 4 million dollars. Some of the exotics which were seized which weren’t in the video included a Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren Roadster, Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR, Diablo Roadster, and a Rolls Royce Drophead which you can slightly see at one point. Checkout all the cars in the video as most of them are heavily modified. This was one incredible collection! Enjoy!

My 700th video shows a fun day with a couple of friends in my favourite track, the Mugello racetrack! We went on the track with a yellow Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 fitted with racing sick tires and with a white Porsche 997 GT3RS mk2. In both the rides you can see some battles with some other supercars such as the Nissan GT-R R35, Ferrari 430 Scuderia, Porsche 997 GT2RS and others. Definitely one of my fav trackday ever!
