BMW’s brand new road going superbike, the S1000RR takes on the competition along the Route Napoleon in the South of France. Japan’s greatest, the Yamaha R1, Honda’s CBR1000RR Fireblade, Kawasaki’s ZX-10R and Suzuki’s GSXR1000 go up against Germany’s latest to try and take the 2010 MCN 1000cc Sportsbike Of The Year crown.
We took the new GSX-R600 and its rivals, which are unchanged for 2011, to fight it out on warm, sunny dry roads in the south of France. We also enlisted the help of 500cc Grand Prix winner Simon Crafar and MCN reader Paul Berryman to give their opinion.
WE ARE CHANGE Ottawa members went to the Ottawa Go Green Expo on March 21st - 22nd. Currently in Canada, we have a bill ( Bill C-311) that has passed the 2nd reading and if passes a third reading and then approved by the Senate, Canada will be committed to meeting the scientific levels of greenhouse emission set forth the IPCC. The mainstream media and governments alike will have you belief that all climate scientists are in agreements on man made global warming. My honest research have shown different.
