This was my ‘80 Suzuki GS550L… I purchased it with 14k miles on it in the summer of 08 and sold it with just over 21k in may of 09. The modifications done to the bike were simple. New paint all around and emblem removal on the small panels. Custom seat recover. Handlebars with bar end mirror. New mini turn signals all around(rear ones weren’t installed in video). Slightly modified stock exhaust and K&N filter.
I now have the larger 19 front rim and tire on. Some modification is still necessary. I take teh bike off teh stand and show the riding position and stance of the bike. Still a lot of work ahead…….please comment.
1980 suzuki gs550 LT, Got the thing for free cleaned her up a bit and got er runnin. It is a true home custom jap bobber! I even used spraypaint! COMMENTS WOULD BE AWSOME!
I love this motorcycle. It has been my closest companion for over a year. I’ve ridden it in blistering heat and terrible cold. I’ve screamed, sang and cried while riding thru the twisty roads of Lancaster County and beyond! It’s now for sale and I hope it’s well taken care of from here on out…
