This is a 1969 Morris Mini-Cooper S modified by Downton in Europe. It’s a MK II with sliding windows, external door hinges, and the bigger MK II tail lights. For such a small vehicle, there is loads of room inside the car, as the tranverse mounted twin carbureted 4 cylinder takes up less room because it’s sideways. I am replacing my Nissan Maxima speakers. I had some Sony Xplods, and they busted. Note to self and any other people, don’t buy Sony. I replace them with some Polk db651 6.5″ Coaxial Speaker (DB651). Right now, they are on sell for 79.99 per pair. I went ahead and bought two pairs. This particular video is how I remove my door before the actual installation.
