BMW Manufacturing Plant Berlin Produces 2 Millionth Motorbike. Since1969, the plant produced motorbikes for the global market in Berlin Spandau since 1969. In a ceremony with the mayor of Berlin, Klaus Wowereit, and numerous invited guests, such as as the actor Hannes Jaenicke and Gerit Kling, motorbike stunt riding champion Chris Pfeiffer presented the anniversary motorcycle. It is a BMW R 1200 GS in exclusive Berlin design.
