Axial SCX10™ & XR10™ at the Portland International Auto Show 2011

Team Axial driver Ryan Gerrish attended the Int’l Auto Show in Portland, Oregon this past weekend. Ryan and fellow northwest crawler Brett Carlson set-up a small Axial booth at the show to demo some SCX10™ TR’s, and allow fellow show attendees to take the wheel of an SCX10™. Ryan’s dashing good looks scored him a small spot on the local news. Thanks to Bulu Productions for making the video!!! See out blog: axialracing.com

RC ADVENTURES - 1:16th MINI Rock Crawler - GC2 Chassis - Review - W/ Commentary

www.RCSPARKS.com - NEW WEBSITE!! CHECK IT OUT !! A quick look at a brief run of Teds’ Losi MRC, Converted to a GC2 Chassis. I was just chatting to the camera as I watched this little machine in action. Quite remarkable for the size. Can you believe thay ACTUALLY get smaller than this? Yup.. as small as a 1 scale.. a “micro” crawler.. un-real. Anyways.. enjoy :) COMMON QUESTIONS: 1) How Much for a good rock crawler? 1a) That is a tough one. It depends on your definition of “good”. All rock crawling rigs in this video are Pro Comp ready - and cost upwards of 00 - 00. 2) What is the cheapest rock crawler? 2a) Again - it depends on the changing time. Currently - IMO - the best value for a starter ROCK crawler would be an Axial Scorpion RTC. Google it. 3) Nice clip. Do these rigs have selectable axles? meaning, can the operator turn the axle on and off? Seemed like some would only drive one axle, then would drive two. Why are only the front tires spinning? thanks. 3a) Yes - what you are referring to is something called a “DIG”. It created a pivot point for the truck - if it needs to turn on a sharp radius - And has a Motor-On-Axle setup - meaning.. one motor mounted to each axle. By controlling the power to the individual they can create a spot for the truck to “dig” with. 4) What type of batteries do you guys run 4a) -Most of us Run LIPO batteries. 1000-2000mAH 2s & 3s depending on the rig. 5) I notice lots of you guys are running HPI rock grabbers. Are those a good
