BMW Motorrad Motorsport teams at Monza
Leon Haslam scored a third place in the first race on this great and very tense day at Monza, Italy. Although there were problems with his tires, Troy Corser finished a great race as did Ayrton Badovini. All in all a satisfying day for the whole team.

2 million BMW Motorrad motorbikes from Berlin
In 1967, we opened our plant in Berlin, where all BMW Motorrad motorcycles are being produced today. To celebrate the production of 2 million bikes at the plant, we staged a ceremony with our employees, the mayor of Berlin Klaus Wowereit, actor Hannes Jaenecke, actress Gerit Kling, four times stunt riding world champion Chris Pfeiffer and, of course, the two millionth bike.
