Tiff Needell loved the Suzuki Swift even in basic 1.3 guise. So when they brought out a 123bhp Sport model he was first with his hand up.

  1. I was told at one of the Suzuki dealerships that I’ve gone to that they’re eventually supposed to bring out a global model of the Swift, possibly after Suzuki releases the Kizashi. Basically they’re phasing out the last of GM/Daewoo’s leftovers of the rebadged Swift/Chevy Aveo/Pontiac Wave.
    The SX4 AWD hatchback, and the new FWD Sportback, they’re the closest thing to the European Swift, as they’re built on the same chassis, so they should have the same great handling.

  5. I want this car. Hopefully they will bring it to Canada one day. I REALLY hate how Suzuki Canada decided to rebadge a crappy Daewoo as a Swift.

  6. DONT BUY A New Suzuki Swift 1.3 GL or 1.5 GLX! Just think of the depreciation you will suffer over 3 years losing over 50%. Fix your motoring costs and do what many Americans have been doing for years and years, LEASE it!   9. I wish we would receive cool cars like this still in the USA. The cars here are too heavy. I will keep my 87 turbo 3 cyl Suzuki forever.
