Muscle cars are seriously heavy and very hard to turn corners at fast speeds. They will definitely win in a drag race, but on a track or course race, they’d either lose or crash.

Banned for a reason I doubt that.The supra, rx-7, and 3000gt came here and there great competition for american cars so wtf are you talking about.Any car can have nitrous ,a school bus could, so its not a weapon that imports have over domestic.What you see is what you get not true.Get a better carburetor ,adjust it, new fuel pump,blower same shit more power.Not to many I-6 or V6 top fuel dragsters are there.Get 7000hp out of a six cylinder…P.S. You’re quoting fast and furious? these guys, including the writers know nothing about cars or racing… I’ve been tuning cars for twenty years both American and JDM, and have to laugh when I watch these movies… please don’t quote this bullshit it makes racers (especially JDM lovers) look like idiots, thats why most hardcore Muscle gearheads dont take JDM seriously… it’s a shame there are a lot of nice JDM machines. but these movies give true tuners a black eye.

hahah yay now i can put in my two cents worth imports are good dont get me wrong but you put those same t88 turbos on a big v8 your lookin at 1200hp not your measly 600 have a look at any turbo v8 and itll blow your 6 out of the water supra owners are now only just getting a 1000hp from there straight 6s but shit you come over to oz and there is regular joes pullin that power out of there v8s that they built in the shed for half the price and usually there more reliable

u bolt T88 ball bearing turbos on a GTR get bigger injectors.. better CPU.. brainded fuel lines.. bigger fuel pump.. all of a sudden its 600bhp? not to mention jap turbos are drift cars.. FUN~! what can an old american muscle do? straight line? lol.. there old an ugly and as the drift king said in japan.. “drifting an old v8 is like drifting a fridge” new times.. new technology u can get more power out of an IMPORT! imports everytime!!!

R34 GTR is a Monster! as one smart guy said.. they are banned in america for a reason.. you guys dont understand that with new engineered technology on jap turbos you can just about do anything with the computers.. wind boost, inject more fuel.. ect.. with old american muscle what you see is what you get.. dirty old V8.. times have changed as walker said.. it reminds me of modern day technology r34 gtr is a blueray and and old v8 is a VCR..? and nitrous is just another weapon an import can have

lol, these movies are hilarious, they sprung up a whole generation of 16 year olds inheriting their mom’s 86′ Honda Civic, painting the hood flat black, taking out the radio and seats to conserve weight but adding 300 pounds in body kit, and adding a shiney new intake, mmm, yeah now its a cool car, LOL
What i like most about these moves is they promote the uner car, but remind themselves at the end every time that there’s no substitute for good ole American Muscle

a number of reason but for one, it doesn’t meet the crash saftey standards here. IIRC it fails the rear crash horribly and compromises the fuel cell it bcus of the safety and emmisions dumb ass

yeah there are. but how much are they? a bugati can beat a corvette but its like a million dolars. chevy has been making extreemly powerfull engines its whole life you cant deny that. i have a friend who has 15 grand under the hood of his scion, my brother has a comaro with 2k under the hood and guess which one is faster? the comaro..and its just a movie dom also did a wheelie in the begining…
