  2. 7:29 is fully 3 seconds slower than the ZR1 but hey, the ZR1 does cost well over a hundred grand

  6. kinds of both, in a saleen s281 on forza2 i ran an 8:27, considering all muscle stlye cars drift on every little turn i think its ok, i wish the r35 was in the game so i could compare

  7. the 2010 r35 gets 7:26.7 on the nurburgring now

  8. Kudos. The R35 would never take me to court and milk every cent out of me.

Partially because it doesn’t have emotions, or does it? 0_o

  9. the porsche testers slowed down on purpose when they drove the gtr, do you honestly think they would try to beat their own times from their cars and make themselves look bad compared to nissan

  12. yeah its a Padel shift. You can either leave it in auto mode, and dont need to use the padels, or, switch it to manual mode, and use the padels. The car is Like an Auto, being that it features not clutch pedal, and has a very large break pedal, and a gas pedal. Its got a “Buttton starter” as well.

  17. look plug007, the nissan never had any slick tires on. for your information, if you did any research about the GT-R R35 OFFICIAL Nurburgring time attack. you would notice that the japanese offered porsche’s driver a class lesson on how to drive. that means that the people who drove porsche’s cars suck.

  18. I believe that what’s needed to clear the controversy is an inependent test. 2 showroom cars, two drivers not related to the companies, one track day and some cameras. I do believe that 7:29 is overhyped for the GT-R, but not impossible, yet some unbiased comparison may shed some light IMO.

  19. well sorry it was a nurburgring expert. more experienced than the Japanese driver on the ‘ring’. Thats still no excuse to say they were a massive 25 seconds faster than porcshe’s time.

    Comment by plug007 — December 28, 2009 @ 10:46 pm

  20. The Porsche driver that tested the GT-R back-to-back with the GT2 and GT3 was NOT a pro driver. It was a chassis engineer for Porsche. Their pro driver was not present at the thest and has NEVER been behind the wheel of the GT-R. Inform yourself better before commenting.

  21. this time is fake. They had slick tires. Ask porcshe, they did it and all they could manage was a lap 25 seocnds slower. The driver was a pro porsche test driver who know nurburgring alot more than the jap driver of this.

  22. Thats how times are measured at the nurburgring

  24. Wait… shouldn’t the finish line be where the start line is? Thats pretty sketchy.. he starts like 150 yards farther down the road from where they stop the time at the end.

    Comment by Destroytherunner — December 28, 2009 @ 10:46 pm

  25. What’s really scary is how much this beast weighs….. there is no way a 4k lbs car can move that fast with less than 525 hp none the less maneuver easily.
