I have owned the 2009 Maxima with Sports and Tech packages for the last 2 months. It’s the best car I have ever owned, far better than my old Infiniti G35 Coupe. My wife far prefers my car than her BMW 330i, I’m inclined to agree :oD I used to work for Nissan corporate and this is the best Nissan I have driven (and I’ve driven them all!)

I too am a 97 SE owner. I’ve been waiting for something to catch my eye on the maxima line and it looks like this 09 yr maybe the one. My 97 might die out soon. so it maybe time for a change. I agree with you give it an AWD ^.^

its big and heavy, it does not corner nicely, and its ugly…if your considering a car in this class, i suggest you check infiniti g35 or Acura TL.
