I’m very interested BUT what is the range when it’s -20F during a snow storm (high winds), heater on high? Will I get home? If the claimed range is 100 miles then will it be 50 miles worst case? I need a solid round trip 30-35 miles. It may not be an issue if I can destination charge.

I live in Portland Oregon one of the test market cities for the Leaf. I hope to to be one of the first consumers to purchase the car. For my needs a 100 mile range all electric is perfect since i do 95% of my driving in the metro area and Portland has a wide spread network of quick charge stations as well as already having a 220 plug in my garage. I will hang onto my gas car for occasional extended trips but might buy a car cover for it since it will be sittting idle most of the time. lol

I will buy one even if there is no charging infrastructure. I hope there are plans to allow them to be ordered through any Nissan dealer. Can’t wait to see the price…
