both are great..but the nissan even american or european or japanese made in its cc engines seems to have huge problems with rattling and clutch and with its immobilizer codings.toyota on the other hand in the same cases seems to have a pedal problem a lower hp and nm ability but better fuel economy more trusted engines and reliability.i prefer nissans looks and extras but i would buy a toyota wich has lower expenses espesially with engine problems since the nissan has brake downs all the time.

Nissan craos on Yoda..if you get in a Toyota your basically putting your life at risk..Toyota knew about the gas pedal problems for years, and first tried to blame it on driver error, than floormats, than the peal, and they thought a piece of metal inbetween the pedal was REALLY gonna fix it?, Pshhh i think not! Already 52 deaths in America due to Toyotas, how many more will it take before they get it right? Im glad gov is all over Toyota’s ass about this crap. Toyota MOVING FORWARD..REGUARDLESS

The Frontier is the better truck. Both trucks take the frame from the full size. what would you rather have a fully boxed ladder frame from the Titan, or the bending flexible frame from the Tundra. Yes we have all seen Ford’s test that shows how big of a piece of shit the Tundra is. Nissan wins hands down.

@willyjameshuff You do realize that Toyota’s LSD only spins 70 - 30. It’s completely pointless.

Go Nissan!

Almost same w Toyota it’s a pity no one offers many options or OR packages on regular cab pickups any more.

BE CAREFUL WITH TACOMAS FROM YEARS 2000-2004. their under carriage was not treated for rust. if the bottom of the truck only seems to have surface rust, it may be worse on the inside.

ok toyotas are really for girls but if you want to be a girl fine.

@12camerokid.

Comment by PreRunnerTaco — March 15, 2010 @ 10:07 am
I’ve owned both. The Taco is so much better it’s not funny. No WOT restriction, LSD, better ride, actually has low end power like a TRUCK should have…..
Comment by willyjameshuff — March 15, 2010 @ 10:07 am
@PreRunnerTaco your right and toyotas are more reliable

…well not every person would know what to do in that type of situation where thier going 80mph on the freeway and traffic just suddenly stops, and thier gas pedal malfunctions. I dont think a persons first reaction is to put it in neutral… picture it happening to grandma, or the soccer mom

You better sharpen up your driving skills then… get a 5speed and jam the clutch or throw your automatic in to neutral… I Had an old POS ranger once that the throttle stuck on a few different times, and i just had to throw it in neutral…. I Had an f150 one time that the throttle position sensor went also and it did the same thing… held the revs at 5000 in neutral…
That toyota recall doesn’t worry me, and it shouldn’t worry you…

Comment by fury350z — March 15, 2010 @ 10:07 am
honestly i think it all comes down to what body you like better… i dont think one is better than the other.. until it comes to offroad… toyota is easily better than nissan and it shows with theyre vehicles… i.e. FJC, FJ40, Tacoma, Hilux, Land Cruiser… etc… they are built more toward offroading… and thats why i like them better… oh and all of nissans vehicles are but ugly :D… im not trying to start beef just my opinion.
Comment by PreRunnerTaco — March 15, 2010 @ 10:07 am
would never buy a toyota, especially with the electronic gas pedal recall, wouldnt wanna end up dieing

I know about chevy, that’s another reason why I fucking hate G.M. (aside from everything else those bastards lie about) I love dodge/chrysler. and though chrysler owns dodge, they have little to no influence on it. Not to mention that ford is completely american.
Comment by boon222222 — March 15, 2010 @ 10:07 am
Do you mean the Chevys made of Chinese parts and assembled in a foreign country
or ford made in a foreign country
