  1. Carlos Ghosn is the King of the Automobile world.
Ford or GM you should have offered at least 300 million for this guy a year.
This guy as you can see in his speech is passionate and has vision, his worthless.
Can you imagine Nissan is a threat…
When you have the talent even a small company can kick asses, and this is it.

  2. AMAZING !

100 MILES RANGE all Electric car.
But electricity is NOT free. It cost 2 1/2 cents per mile for this electric car versus 15 cents per mile for gasoline car..

Cost of this car is “gazillions”.
    Priceless at this time_

  5. Finally a decent reply that was interesting and well thought out. (on youtube no less)

It’s the Methane from all the cows not the gas that pollutes.. just makes Corp. rich and shift money outside and makes strange country bedfellows. Must trap the Methane. Geez I sound like an informed environmentalist. Damn!

That is a problem car manufacturers are facing, but the LEAF is a huge step in overcoming those challenges. If you read the website for the LEAF, a lot of manufacturing processes and materials used are a lot more environmentally friendly. The estimated battery life for the LEAF is 5yrs, which the cost of the batteries could cost equally or less than the amount of money you save, not having to pay for fluctuating gas prices and vehicle maintenance.

Toyota as well. Don’t screw with American (car) businesses.

  8. If electric car stations are built, then yes, because the power plants will have to expand the supply of electricity. It costs a lot less though in terms of maintenance and fuel. Building anything requires resources, but the point is minimization.

The only issue really is battery life. That will come in time if the industry doesn’t push another electric car out of the market.

  9. I guess all this electricity is free? And making that electricity is not polluting? And the life of the battery after constantly recharging it doesn’t diminish? Manufacturing the batteries don’t cause pollution? (shipping, materials, etc.) Replacing this battery after several years is free? Talk to a NYC taxi driver after owning a hybrid and $6000 to replace the battery and the $5 mor a day it costs them to use them only saving them ess than $2 a day! Honda FCX pollutes in manufact as well
