  4. I have a visually impaired friend who has a father who used to have one of these early Altimas. I liked the one he used to have, but traded it in for a Honda Pilot. Still, I like the coupe the best.

  5. I had a 93 5 spd GXE a few years ago. It was my first car with ABS. The first time I experienced ABS activation, I thought I had broke something because of the vibration in the pedal and the noise. It got horriblee mileage, something around 15 mpg because it had a badly leaking intake manifold gasket. On day while I was away working, my dad took it out without telling me, and wrecked it. I wasn’t too mad about it, the car was a rusty pile of junk anyway.

  6. Our Altima In Middle East Are Different. Our Altimas Are RWD With An Option Of 2.0 4Cyl. Or 2.4 6 inline. They Used To Sell This Car Here As A Blue Bird SSS.

  10. This car is better than the sentra and j30. 0-60 time is faster than today’s mazda6, camry, or accord.

  11. I myself prefer gen one altimas, particularly the segment it fit into. now the altima and maxima continue to grow in size unnecesarily IMO. As far as ‘very fast’, I would consider them ‘relatively’ fast for their segment! Cheers

  13. I used to love these cars during my Nissan fanboi stage. I still like the simple yet elegant design and packaging.

I used to want an SE manual with the ABS/LSD package and a sunroof. :)
