  2. Think about it this way, its a stock viper with a paxton supercharger. The motors in the 08 vipers can’t take more than 750hp without motor work. Paxton vipers put out mid 600’s to the wheels. Now it it was an 03 or older viper, it’d be a different story. But I do agree, fifth gear kills them, they need a shit lot to drag it out. Biggest improvement between the Z06 and the ZR1

  3. Viper had the lead, and with 50 more hp on top it should have won. Probably something to do with the gears ratio not optimized for top speed.. Great video you guys are the best :)

  5. Why would they Quote the viper in Flywheel horsepower and the GT-R in awhp?????
    The viper is probably making 650rwhp… Its fifth gear is what kills it. (same as Z06..)
