  1. This may stop car drivers pulling out in front of you if they realise that you may go bang and take them with you

  3. @ansancre

You already have a hydrogen-station it’s called your garden tap.

  4. Barcelona has thousands of scooters. I would like to see more hydrogen-station, and I would buy it.

  5. I just tried to post a video response and it didn’t happen. why would you want to sit on a tank of hydrogen with 10,000 psi in it ? hell no !!!!! hydrogen on demand ! google it and look at the exploding water I tried to video respond with

  7. MCN always seem to manage to get the most nervous, stuttering, awkward presenters imaginable. why?

  8. @pmborris: you’re actually both right, there are huge periods of light and dark at the poles.

  9. dead by hydrogen by initials are on he bottle say high to oil fueled planet earth

  10. @pmborris The videos are just a taster for the articles in the paper where the real analysis occurs.

    Comment by guyprocter — March 2, 2010 @ 5:15 pm

  11. @acidnaught74 are you stupid..by the poles there is prolonged periods of light. At the extremes of both poles there is sunlight 24hours a day. dont even bother replying you..because you are wrong and idiotic.

mcn sucks, their reviews are too short, poorly filmed and edited and there is a lack of information. They never conclude with decisive oppinions they just generalise everything in order to make everyone happy.

  12. I agree with mrphate89 theres something you cant replicate like the the roar of a motor or the power of one but theres also of the question of the Hydrogen gas under pressure it would go up a lot worse than petrol in a leak actual its more of a bomb.
And another thing as a rider with a 800 VFR with staintune exhaust system which is fairly loud i still get people saying i did not see or hear you (friggin deaf and dumb) when they almost run you off the road imagine with this thing being silent ?

  13. @TheDuerden you would become the first man on a scooter to visit the moon :)

    Comment by mrphate89 — March 2, 2010 @ 5:15 pm

  14. i hope im long dead before we loose the combustion engine….. bikes are not going to be the same without that roaring engine between your bollocks….

    Comment by mrphate89 — March 2, 2010 @ 5:15 pm

  15. @addys well… my vote would be on solar energy even though is clear that it won’t be of much help in places near the poles where there are long periods of time without enough solar light.
Too bad nuclear engine generates dangerous - long term wastes.
BTW: I agree about missing the sound of a good ol combustion engine… but I guess in the future it will be remembered as we do now with vapor machines many years ago… IMO

  16. people don’t realise it takes electricity made from coal to make the hydrogen fuel cells work. they just think “no petrol”, must be cheap at the bowser. nuclear power people! Shut up hypies. nuke power!

    Comment by addys — March 2, 2010 @ 5:15 pm

  17. True, nuke power is the way to go.

    Comment by patrick1wtf — March 2, 2010 @ 5:15 pm

  18. But think first. How you get electricity ?? Its mainly made by coal power station ( places where electricity is made) . It polute earth much more than petrol used in engines. We should make atomic power stations to get clean power , than we can use electric engines.

    Comment by Furiousme — March 2, 2010 @ 5:15 pm

  19. Ok, fair enough .. car’s deserve petrol engine’s too … (they have to be good looking car’s doh)
Scooters can be on electro since they suck anyway.. it would change if they would run on electro..

But they shouln’t ruin bikes that you need to shift gears with (50cc or more)

I totally agree on that electormotors suck.. they don’t have the sound.. or a soul ):
But.. before we all drive electo
, we’ll be all dead.. or atleast enjoyed the last moments of a roaring petrol engine’s :)

  20. it would be like ridein a old boiler, just waiting for it to explode.

    nice concept, but scarey

    Comment by sicknwrong — March 2, 2010 @ 5:15 pm

  21. First thing I thought too..what happens when some numpty hits the side of you in traffic and breaches the tank.

10,000psi is quite a lot of pressure to be SITTING ON TOP OF!!

    Comment by TheDuerden — March 2, 2010 @ 5:15 pm

  22. 10,000 psi?! I’d sure hat to see that thing go off the wrong way in an accident. Whether it cut loose or whatever. Even the line blowing off could be highly dangerous.

  23. law makers and hippie’s don’t care thats the problem.

    Comment by seroyer2 — March 2, 2010 @ 5:15 pm

  24. @patrick1wtf

No , cars shouldn’t run on electromotors . Firstly cars diserve petrol engines as much as bikes. Secondaly electromotors sucks. Makes more polution and have no SOUL.

    Comment by Furiousme — March 2, 2010 @ 5:15 pm

  25. And since the most people use cars.. this won’t help (much),
they should let cars run on electromotors,
don’t ruin the bikes first :S
    (my opinion, doh..)
