@Toonyroo: Well there is a difference there, the hosts are used to hearing things like that, and they are native afterall, so I’m sure they are accustomed to it. And it has occurred a few times on utaban where the hosts couldn’t understand some of the girls.
(REina definitely is my favorite =P)

Yeah, but on shows and stuff, the hosts never give them any crap about it do they?
I’ve never heard a host say “Speak normally” or anything like that to them, so it must be expected or atleast tolerated.
Oh, btw, is Reina your favorite? I see her as your picture on this and I think on H!O too, so I was just assuming, cuz she’s me fave, lol.

That’s what some of our translators say… It may sound ‘cute’ to all of us, but that just means it’s a PAIN to actually translate, but to be ‘cute’ they semi-slur their pronunciation.

She is saying “Taiwan ni” which in this case translates to “In Taiwan”
