  2. one of the best trucks ever. i miss the nismo name but i like the new stuff that comes with the pro4x though and “pro4x” doesn’t sound soo bad. the 4.0 is a real powerhouse for the v6 but IMO i think a v8 option should be available, if its in the pathfinder then they throw one in this truck. when my 2004 gets tired im getting on of these.

  3. I love the stock wheels on this truck. I also think Volk TE37X’s would look nice under there.

  9. there going to quite making the titan?

  10. To be honest with you, the CR rating and the numerous complaints of the 04′-07′ owners really hurt the Titan. It also didn’t offer enough options compared to the domestics. Incentives wasn’t as available either since Nissan can afford it due to its diverse lineup of smaller, more fuel efficient cars. Heart land U.S. is very loyal to their U.S. trucks and Nissan dealerships are few and far for sales and service.

That being said, I’d take the new Titan over the Tundra anytime.

  11. i agree but i just think it’s sad that the titan will be killed off due to all the brain washed tundra fans so the quickest to 0-60 is great but that’s all it has they really should make a 4.0 engine option for 09 titan

  12. I think the rating will be even better a year from now but by then, the Titan will probably be no longer available. I’m glad that the brake rotors for the 08 is bigger. I want a Pro 4x in bad way. Its a cool looking truck.

  13. lol really i have a 04 titan and nother ever went wrong it’s at 84k miles

  14. The Pro 4x Titan can be had with a crew cab long bed but not with the Frontier apparently. Too bad. Consumer Reports however upgraded the reliability of the Titan from worse than average to average.

  15. it is a 5-speed

    Comment by katokimo — December 8, 2009 @ 8:49 pm

  16. i doubt it but that is something nissan needs to work on more options on their trucks, this is why the titan will be ended :(

  17. Can somebody confirm if the Frontier Pro 4x can be had with the crew cab long bed?

  18. lol i would only get the v6 and one of my cousins works at a nissan dealer so ill ask him he also told me a year ago that the titan was gonna be a re badged ram in 2011

  19. Because having my brother as an engineer for Nissan…I will tell you that it is mechanically identical. The exact engines will be offered…only cosmetic differences unlike the raider where they used the same body but used their own engines. The Suzuki Equator will have the exact same engine offered in the Frontier. You will be able to go into lets say autozone and say “I would like an oil filter, spark plugs, and a new alternator for a 2009 nissan frontier 4cylinder” for your Suzuki 4 cylinder.

  20. why would you go to suzuki to buy a frontier? and the real ones are always better, don’t believe me look at the mitsu raider has less towing better back seat that’s it and the frontier had more horse power.

  21. Get the Suzuki model of the rebadged Frontier coming out next month…..same truck better warranty from Suzuki
