  1. I own an 850csi and 135i. 26 years old working for an engineering company in Canada. I did my Master’s project on the BMW McLaren F1 engine in Europe. ^^

Why does an M5 need nitrous anyway.. V10 power.. 0-100 in 4.2 sec while the GTR does it in 3.2-3.5.

The reason for the loss is because the GTR transmissions wear down easily and cause really bad shifts. Go to your nearest Nissan dealer and ask. It is a big headache for them at the moment.

    Cheers. V

  3. …youre trying to get at & everything. The US car companies have been greedy in the past & quality had dropped, but things arent that way anymore. US cars arent just the fastest in a straight line anymore, they do go around corners, they are built wellthings are different now (for some companies)

  4. You need to do ur history of how successful the US was/is a building cars, & you need to stop being so close minded/fan boy like about everything. If u didn’t come out acting like u know everything about every car made…let alone ever been in any of the cars u claim you know about I wouldn’t had been such an ass about everything. I know where the US has been slackin in the car industry; I understand what…

  5. …Ford F150 although its not a car it was the best-selling vehicle in the United States for 23 years & has been the best-selling truck for 33 years.
Lincoln Continental-was successfully built for roughly fifty year run,
Ford Crown Victoria, Yenko CamaroAlmost 40 years later Yenkos have been appraised & sold for well over $2.2 million USD at Barrett-Jackson auctions. 1998-2002 Camaro SS/Z28. Now those aren’t my opion of American cars, but many magazines etc so i’m not having a “opion”

  6. …1973, 1974, & 1975.
Automobile Magazine ranked the 19631967 Sting Ray first on their “100 Coolest Cars” list, above the Dodge Viper GTS, the Porsche 911, & others.
Sports Car International placed the Corvette at number 5 on their list of the “Top Sports Cars of the 1960s”.

  7. Corvette: Over the years the Corvette has won awards from automobile publications as well as organizations such as the Society of Automotive Engineers.
MT magazine named the Corvette Car of the Year in 1984 & 1998.
C&D magazine selected the Corvette for its annual Ten Best listfifteen times!: the C4 from 1985 through 1989, the C5 in 1998, 1999, & 2002 through 2004.

  8. …It won the MT Car of the Year award in 1974 & 1994. In 2005 it was runner-up to the Chrysler 300 for the North American Car of the Year award & was named Canadian Car of the Year, but that would be post 2003.
The AC cobra 65s, became the fastest accelerating car in the world for the next 20 years: 0-60 mph & 100 mph could be done in 4.2 and 10.3 seconds respectively, & 0-100-0 mph in 12.4 seconds ! the latter record held until levelled by Caterham Seven JPE in 1991!…

  9. One “good” car that’s pretty vague; outside America? u mean made in America? Outside America would be a non American car. Just to name a fewMustang: The 1965 Mustang won the Tiffany Gold Medal for excellence in American design, the first automobile ever to do so.The Mustang was on the C&D best drivers list in 1983, 1987, 1988… It won the Motor Trend Car of the Year award in 1974 and 1994. In 2005 it was runner-up to the Chrysler 300 for the North American Car of the Year award…

  11. Contradicting myself since Henry Ford orded the British devision to build the GT40 after not being able to buy Ferrari get a life retard!

  12. The US “not building a road going car” is a matter of opion. That’s not a fact…I can sit here & name off handfuls of them. I’m not going to waste my time, there is no proving anything to ur ignorant ass. U think ur shit don’t stink, but everything I say I prove wrong, then u ignore the fact that i prove u wrong only to run to another random topic trying to get me on something else.

  13. For one Ford made the body, it was just assimbled in the UK. Ford discontinued it then sold the rights to the name, Stafir Engineering (a UK company) bought it out & made a continuation of the body. Ford tried to buy it back but Stafir Engineering wanted to much & that’s why ford just named it the Ford GT not GT40 b/c they relinquished the right to the name. Any other weak ass thing u want to try to run to? 1st u say it the only good American car, then u go off contradicting yourself, lol.

  14. All Americans ever do is say there 1963 Mustang or or 1967 pontiac or what ever the hell they had are the best cars in the world the fact is excluding racing cars there road going cars are the worst in the world until the 2003 FORD GT fact! ask any true car fan and they will tell you the same, American cars could not go round corners. Yes they could build goo racing cars but they just didn’t understand how to combine comfort and speed, only speed!

  15. GT40 IT’S A RACING CAR DUMB ASS I mean good cars that can actually drive on ROADS retard! and that’s the fact world OVER! DUUH not racing cars and the GT40 was built guess where IN ENGLAND moron! not America England.

  17. @sw1000xg so again the US was good there too. You’re a very ignorant stereotypical little kid or a real stupid naive old man, either way ur a flippin tool & should just give up at this point. Im getting tired of overcoming ur ignorant & pointless arguments. Have a good one though…

  18. @sw1000xg…The US has dominated straight line performance for years. While Europe came up with another idea of going around turns fast thus being the force they are today around turns. America dominated straight line performance, & others dominated turns. Youre sadly mistaken if u think the US never built good cars till 03but nice try AGAIN man. Also the Ford GT40 was dominating Ferraris, Porsche you name in its class for years, eben way back then…

  19. @sw1000xgway to dodge my questions there Mr perfect lmao. I’ll mark another one on the chalk board for myself. Oh and u need to do your research on American muscle cars b4 u state there was only one good American car till 2003. America car companies spent their money on straight line performances, hints why every time an American car wins in a drag race people always say the vette is ment for a straight line it should winblah blah blah…

  20. You’re like little babys you cry and stanp around when anyone pulls you’re crappy cars down. Until 2003 the Ford GT was the first good car the world could drive not just something in America, and you voted in George Bush nuff said! They can choose to live in the most ignorant country in the world!

  21. For such a pathetic place full of pathetic people I just find it odd that roughly 7-10 + million people every year choose the US, & roughly 40million people have already chosen to live here rather than where they were born& thats a factlol, Im starting to enjoy that one!
    ps wtf is LC2?

    Comment by MaxwellReviresco — March 2, 2010 @ 4:02 pm

  22. “Americans are the most pathetic people”? explain to me what an American is please b/c a the US is a melting pot 40+% mix of every racial ethnicity, & the foreign-born population is roughly 40millionthat includes the perfect educated place u must come from as wellbut of course not being a pathetic American u knew that huh, oh and what great country do u come from anywayslet me guess, Europe?

    Comment by MaxwellReviresco — March 2, 2010 @ 4:02 pm

  23. It’s still in the manual if you can’t read a simple manual then Nissan should not be be responsable but because you Americans are the most pathetic people in the world thats why they introduced the LC2. how is the evidnece there it states do not turn VDC off to launch only for mud/snow escape whats more official than that? you can’t change the fact it’s in the manual again you can’t change that! it’s like saying here is a fire it’s in the manual to not put you’re hand in the fire wilst on!

  24. …The courts granted the people the win, Nissan the obligation to fix people cars & reprogram their computer lauch control system, but nice try Nissan. As you like to say every time and thats a fact

    Comment by MaxwellReviresco — March 2, 2010 @ 4:02 pm

  25. breaking then today brought it inNissan just needs to take one peak at the black box & go sorry u turned VDC off & went above 4,400rpmsbut its only 20k to replace it. If they shit wasnt so shady Nissan would have won in court not lost pimpin. They lost which proved legally they had enough against them between how they marketed the car, & what they car obviously is intended for (the freakin streets!)
